Bonnie da Westie

Bonnie was a puppy farm baby and suffered poor health all her life, succumbing to Cushings Disease in late 2014 and she lost her sight due to SARDS two weeks later, and after almost a year's treatment for Cushings she made her way to Rainbow Bridge in 2015.

 

Bonnie da Westie joined Zombie Squad in the very beginning when membership was just a handful of furs; Winston Feerless Founder, Bruv, Biscuit and Zero. Bonnie ran the original ZS website. Zombie Squad soon expanded and Shay was made media and publicity officer and Sprock the IT Guru and keeper of the Cumbrian Sausage Mine. Membership grew rapidly and it was then necessary to form ZS HQ who dealt with all the admin tasks.  Later Bonnie created Bruv Fan Club on Facebook and ZS Medics which runs online courses for members of Zombie Squad. Some courses are educational helping to teach basic first aid for owners from the pet's perspective and some just for fun.

 

She is still very active online, giving comfort to owner's who have recently lost their beloved pets, still runs ZSMedics and it's sister organisation ZS Catering Corp. She raises the ZS OTRB Brigade Flag when a ZS soldier passes over Rainbow Bridge to join the other ZS Angels fondly known as The Immortals. Many Immortals still take an active part in ZS events as the companionship made during their lifetime has proved invaluable to their owners.

 

Bonnie is much loved by all in Zombie Squad for her kindness and her caring personality. She has now created the Furever Book to make sure all soldiers who want to be included have their photo and names etched in this book to remain a permanent part of Zombie Squad and will never be forgotten.
