Winston was an inspiration to everyone, both 2 and 4 legged. After several unsuccessful surgeries he lost the ability to walk and was totally dependant on his mum to care for his daily needs. It was a full time job caring for him but she dedicated her life to him and he wanted for nothing. He inspired her with his determination to live as normal a life as a dog on wheels could.

His mum Louise decided to form a little group of pals on Twitter and a year after it evolved into what is now known as Zombie Squad. And from a few pals, to a few dozen, to a few hundred and now a few thousand world wide. Zombie Squad is one of the largest online animal communities offering friendship and support to all who join. 

​

Zombie Squad now has many facets, and there is something for everyone and no-one is left out. ZS HQ runs several events throughout the year, has a Birthdays team who send out cards to all members on their birthday,  Pals Porch where members can congregate and chat socially and to show or receive support, a Training division and a Medics/Catering division. When members go otrb, they then join the immortals in the OTRB Brigade.

Winston's legacy lives on and still inspires us all.
